Ravago Petrokimya started its first activities in 2001 with the production of Thermoplastic Elastomers in Gebze, Kocaeli, and included the Engineering Plastics group in its product range in 2014. In the chemistry group, it became Turkey's first and only Thermoplastic Polyurethane producer in 2012. Today, Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Polyurethane Systems are produced under the same roof in Gebze facilities. The company that incorporated the production facilities in Aliağa, İzmir in 2012; it has become Turkey's largest producer and one of the three largest producers in Europe in the production of Expandable Polystyrene.
